Kussnester, op. 23, for high Voice, Soprano Recorder, Alto Recorder and Guitar

«Kussnester» is the title of the latest volume of poetry by the poet and painter, who was born in 1930 in Wolfhalden, Appenzell Ausserrhoden, and published by Waldgut Verlag in 2009. In his latest volume of poetry Lutz also shows himself to be a master of surprising word combinations. He creates pictures full of humor and self-irony. The sonorous style of his language does not actually require any additional setting to music. Nevertheless, his lyricism continues to resonate within me, and so these seventeen miniatures were created as a song cycle in November/December 2009. Roger Faedi.
